Our Medical & Surgical Wards are located on levels 2, 5 and 6 of Midlands Specialist Private Hospital, and appropriately staffed with highly-skilled, caring and professional registered nurses, enrolled nurses and enrolled nursing assistants.
These professionals are backed up by a quality assurance team comprising of among others an infection prevention control practitioner and a quality assurance team member.
Our medical wards are supported by an on-site kidney and dialysis centre, as well as a state of the art radiology facility and four on-site independent pathology laboratory services.
Our teams treat a variety of medical conditions, including Diabetes and its complications, HIV-Aids and associated opportunistic infections, TB, Pneumonia, Stroke, Influenza and its complications, Kidney diseases, Acute Rheumatalogical conditions, conditions, Gastroenteritis and Gastritis, as well as Cellulitis. Our surgical teams manage a variety of surgical procedures pre and post-operation, including ENT, dental, maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, neurosurgery and urology.
Our facilities include specialised Isolation suites for patients with infectious diseases such as pulmonary TB and meningitus.
We work in conjunction with an array of specialists and various allied healthcare professionals such as audiologists, psychologists, counsellors, physiotherapists and dieticians.
